Newbury Velo is Newbury and West Berkshire’s newest cycling and triathlon club.

Only founded in 2019, we may be young but we carry years of history on our shoulders as the new hosts of Newbury Triathlon from 2025, an event which dates back to 1987. We have a fresh and vibrant approach to being a cycling and triathlon club, while already boasting a rich tapestry of cycling achievements and cycling greats. If you love getting out on a Sunday ride with great company and at a pace that suits you, we are the club for you. If you want to race, whether on or off the road, experience a velodrome, learn new skills on the bike, or how to maintain it, again, we are your club. We ride in areas of outstanding natural beauty and will venture out in most weathers. If you want to ride on the road or on the trails, race a time trial, dust off your old steel bike and end the ride with fish and chips, get on an e-bike, or ride virtually wearing our Zwift club kit, we can cater for it all - whether you are 5 or 85!
